When it comes to high-quality coatings and tailor-made concepts, Hillebrand Coating Technologies has been a competent and reliable partner for the automobile industry for the past 45 years.
As a coater in the premium segment of the automobile supplier industry, we use the latest generation of powder systems to refi ne both interior and exterior automobile components. Screens, trims, window division mouldings, fl ange edges, mirror bases, recessed grips and pushbuttons are just some of the comprehensive range of automobile accessories.
The basic material does not play a role in this regard. Hillebrand fi nds both the right pre-treatment (free from chromium VI) and the right powder system which enable it to offer a tailor-made solution.
The following substrates are used:
- aluminium
- steel
- cathodic dip painted surfaces
- galvanised surfaces
- die cast aluminium, zinc and magnesium
- plastic.
The advantage is a tailor-made surface system which does justice to the highest quality demands.
Full-Service-Supplier
The extreme quality requirements are however not the sole criteria for supplying to customers such as DaimlerChrysler, BMW, Audi, Land Rover, Volvo, Saab, Renault, Jaguar or Porsche. The requirements increase along the value added chain. This is where Hillebrand Coating Technologies has reorganised itself as a Full Service Supplier. The emphasis nowadays is on a small number of suppliers but with a high level of vertical integration. Examples of these are:
· Inventory or raw materials management with SAP
· Coating and 100% control of the requested requirements
· Assembly, finishing and pricing of the merchandise
· Direct shipping to OEM. This enables automobile customers to call up the required quantity with the corresponding quality from Hillebrand just in time.
